My dad graduated from Garden Plain High School in 1977.  Although I didn't know him very well, Garden Plain was always home to him.  He made a lot of lifetime friends in his hometown, and was liked by many.

Marge was proud to be graduate of GPHS.  She enjoyed following sports, particularly the Garden Plain Owls, the
K-State Wildcats and the WSU Shockers. One of her favorite hobbies was gardening, and she could often be found working in her rose garden. In her later years she became active in the Garden Plain senior citizens group and took great pride in the GP Senior Center.

Image Mr. Puetz taught me more in the late 80's than any other teacher.I still use what he taught me today on a daily basis. The most important lesson he taught me was not to smart off to a man  thats back hand could move me 6 inckes back without even looking my way.  Wow i think my chest still hurts but i would have never told him that because he didn't like winers!!!!  God Bless!!

It was because of this amazing man that I was blessed with a full college track scholarship. He was truly a man that meant the world to me! Always, Patti '86

My brother Greg was one-of-a-kind. He loved people and there wasn't anything he wouldn't try.
From dressing up like the Blues Brothers and attending a City Council meeting in Wichita, to flashing a fake badge at some kids he caught smoking under the bleachers at a baseball game, he was a joy to my life and to all that he met.
We miss him and think of him lovingly every day.
